Our Call To Action

Our communities are not development zones; they are homes and congregations. Faith communities, especially the Black Church, are standing up against proposed hyperscale data centers in places like Landover and Bowie that threaten our water, air, health, and energy systems. The real wisdom of our communities must lead the conversation about data centers, massive server warehouses, proposed in various counties across Maryland and nationwide. Beloved DMV EJ Collective is supporting Interfaith Power & Light (DC.MD.NoVA) in their campaign to unite congregations across the region and amplify the voices of our community in this crucial fight for environmental justice.
